Whether you’re struggling to get your ideas noticed in meetings or just need strategies to advocate for yourself at work, this workshop is for you. Afterward, enjoy a relaxed networking hour with a great crew of tech aficionados, light refreshments, and of course, some Friday mocktails 🍹—because it’s Friday, and we all deserve it!

About the Speaker:
Rachel Cottam, a former high school English teacher turned marketing director, knows firsthand what it’s like to be the only woman in the office. Over the past seven years in the Utah tech scene, she’s been passionate about creating allies, not enemies, and leveling the playing field for women and other underrepresented groups. Rachel created the “Allies at Work” Podcast and Playbook to share easy tactics for professional empowerment (get the free downloads at rachelcottam.com).
Currently, Rachel serves as the Director of Content at Delivery Solutions, a UPS Company, and leads the Utah Gender Pay Gap committee to raise awareness of inequity in her state.
Special Note:We’d love for you to see this incredible venue—it even has a piano on stage! 🎹 We’d like to thank PDQ for offering their incredible space!
