We’re back with part II of our Financial Readiness workshop series!

This workshop is open to all, no matter where you are in your financial journey or if you attended the first installment of the series.  In our first session, we discussed: how to recession-proof your finances, high-yield savings accounts, and the importance of a rainy day fund. In this second installment of this series, we will be diving deeper into maximizing your investments and building your credit. We will have a workshop-style setting where we’ll walk through the fundamental steps for each section. So, bring your questions and walk into this safe space where we’re all rooting for each other’s financial successes. We’ll see you there! ✌🏼

About Our Facilitators: This workshop will be facilitated by Sarah Alarcon, a Denver-based financial advisor who helps the LGBTQ+ community and Latina professionals build generational wealth. Additionally, we will have Damion Wright, Global DE&I Talent Programs Leader at Intuit, joining us again to share more insight on Intuit tools that can help you better manage your money and overall financial well-being.

About Our Venue Partner: Powered by the University of Colorado Denver, Colorado Smart Cities Alliance, and Innosphere Ventures, the Smart Futures Lab is a business incubator and accelerator for companies looking for support launching and growing in the smart cities space.

Stay Up to Date: Follow us on Instagram at @latinasintechdenver and LinkedIn at Latinas In Tech – Denver. Lastly, we’ve created a public-facing Google calendar so you can add all of our events for the months of September and October directly to your personal calendars.
