Don’t miss out on an exciting opportunity to connect, learn, and grow at “Latines in the Spotlight,” a special event brought to you by Coursera Hola in partnership with Latinas in Tech Canada, and Latinx in Tech Toronto. This is a unique gathering where we’ll shine a light on what it means to be Latinx, build a career in a new country, and embrace resilience in our journeys.

Event Schedule:

4:30 – 5:00 pm: Check-in and registration.

5:00 – 6:00 pm: 🎙️ Panel Discussion moderated by Latinas in Tech.
Our panelists will explore topics like “What’s being Latinx mean to you?”, “How to build a career in a new country,” and the importance of resilience. The floor will also be open for a Q&A session with up to three questions from the audience. 

6:00 – 6:30 pm: 💬 Networking Activities facilitated by Latinx in Tech.
Ever tried speed networking? It’s a fun and structured way to make meaningful connections. You’ll have a limited amount of time to introduce yourself and get to know each other before moving on to the next person. We’ll provide suggested questions to keep the conversation flowing. The activity will take only 30 minutes, so make every moment count!

7:00 – 7:30 pm: 🌆 Closing Remarks at the end of an unforgettable evening.
